Foreign observers will visit Crimea during the presidential election

Permanent Crimean representative to the Russian President, Deputy Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Georgy Muradov said that foreign delegations will visit the Crimean peninsula during the presidential election in the Russian Federation.

According to Georgi Muradov, foreign delegations will arrive on the Crimean peninsula during the presidential election in the Russian Federation. The politician noted that experts and observers from many countries of the world will visit Crimea.

“Observers and experts from many countries of the world will come to Crimea for the presidential election of the Russian Federation,” Georgy Muradov said in comments to RIA Novosti.

The Federation Council of the Russian Federation has set the date of the Russian presidential election for 17 March 2024. Voting will be carried out by Russian citizens within three days – from 15 to 17 March. Four candidates registered by the CEC of Russia are counting on the presidential post: Nikolai Kharitonov, Leonid Slutsky, Vladimir Putin and Vladislav Davankov.

Earlier, US ambassador to Russia Lynn Tracy was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry and handed a note demanding to stop any assistance to the three US non-profit organisations (NPOs) that were deemed undesirable in Russia.
