In a video published on the YouTube channel FOX 11 Los Angeles, the president addressed the problem of gun violence, which is very acute in the US.
Biden acknowledged that his predecessor Donald Trump failed to take steps to reduce such crimes, and after the school shooting in Iowa, he urged to “just get over it.” Unlike Trump, Biden said, he signed “the most important legislation” to prevent similar offences in the future.
During his speech, Speaker Johnson looked displeased, shook his head and rolled his eyes.
