The German Foreign Ministry has tightened travel advisories for its citizens and those with dual citizenship to Russia and urged them to refrain from visits.
“Travel to Russian Federation is strongly discouraged”, the diplomatic ministry said in a statement.
It also recalled the warning against visiting cities that are located close to the Ukrainian border. We are talking about Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Kursk and Rostov-on-Don.
In September, Russians were urged to refrain from travelling to Germany in cars with Russian number plates.
