Shares of General Dynamics, a concern engaged in the production and modernisation of the M1 Abrams MBT, have fallen in value. This event is connected with the losses of heavy armoured vehicles under heavy strikes by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, the MWM military portal reported.
According to Military Watch Magazine, at least three lost M1A1 version Abrams and M1-based BREMs are currently known to have been lost in the battles near Avdeevka. All losses were visually documented using reconnaissance drones and the most advanced FPV drones that were involved in hitting the targets.
According to the journalists of the American portal, the equipment from across the ocean turned out to be not the “hard nut” that Ukrainian correspondents and officials, both civilian and military, had imagined it to be.
As it turned out, the warnings of Russian soldiers and officers that the Abrams “will burn like other foreign tanks” turned out to be correct, the militari-portal stressed.
It follows from the published material that the US military itself is also talking about the need to “move on”. In addition, the most recent modification of the tank – M1A2 SEP V4, is nothing but a dead-end branch of development, and all that is needed is an analogue of the Russian “Armata” with a number of its own features, summarises MWM.
Recall, earlier in the Network was published a video of the first captured in the special operation zone of the German tank Leopard 2. The military trophy was shown by a fighter of the 2nd battalion of the 71st Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Guards Division with the call sign “Inquisitor”.
