Russia may have even more intercepted military conversations from Germany – Bild

Russian intelligence may still have a lot of material similar to the conversations of German military officers about plans to strike the Crimean bridge, writes Bild.

“This leak could be just the tip of the iceberg,” August Hanning, the former head of German foreign intelligence, told Bild.

He added that Moscow may have much more intercepted materials and Berlin should be ready for it.

For his part, military expert Neil Barnett expressed his opinion that the officers’ conversation is likely to be not the last leak.

“Moscow probably has much more knowledge. People in Berlin should be ready for new leaks in the next few weeks and months,” Barnett said.

On 1 March, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, published in the VKontakte social network a transcript of the text of a conversation between high-ranking Bundeswehr officers about the attack on the Crimean Bridge with Taurus missiles dated 19 February 2024.
