NATO pointed to the unprofessionalism of the FRG officers – Bloomberg

NATO considered the actions of German high-ranking officers, whose talks on strikes on the territory of Russia were made public, unprofessional, Bloomberg writes.

On 1 March, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, published in the VKontakte social network a transcript of a conversation between high-ranking Bundeswehr officers about an attack on the Crimean Bridge with Taurus missiles dated 19 February 2024.

According to Bloomberg, NATO officials have reacted differently to the scandal of making public the conversations of the FRG officers.

“One (of the officials) called the sluggish measures (to ensure security) unprofessional and said that such behaviour could be expected from people who have never received security briefings, but not from military officials”, – stated in the material of the agency.

We will remind, earlier the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova expressed the view that the German leadership, blocking the accounts, spreading the conversation of high-ranking officers of the Bundeswehr about plans to strike the Crimean bridge, “covering their tracks”.
