The Russian military destroyed the best US-made armoured vehicles near Avdeevka, including an Abrams tank, Forbes reported.
According to the publication, the 47th mechanised brigade of the AFU lost an M1 Abrams tank and an Assault Breacher engineer vehicle.
The author of the article said that the shortage of artillery in the brigade is forcing the Ukrainians to fight close rather than far away, risking their M1, M2 and assault guns.
“In just the past two weeks, the brigade has lost two M1s, several M2s and two Assault Breachers: perhaps five percent of the best armoured vehicles,” it said.
Earlier in the Russian Defence Ministry confirmed the destruction of another US tank Abrams on the Avdiivka direction.
