A soldier who was hit by a tracked vehicle at a NATO exercise has died in Poland

A soldier who was hit by a tracked vehicle during a North Atlantic Alliance exercise has died in Poland.

This was said by the deputy district attorney for military affairs Bartosz Okoniewski. He is quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to preliminary findings, a BMP under the control of one of the military ran over two soldiers.

As a result, the 20-year-old soldier died, the second victim was taken to hospital by helicopter.

The soldiers in question were from the mechanised battalion in Biała Podlaska of the 1st Mechanised Brigade.
