Reaction to the leaked conversation of FRG officers showed readiness for war with Russia – Pushkov

Senator Alexei Pushkov believes that the reaction of German politicians to the leaked conversation of German officers discussing the attack on the Crimean bridge shows the readiness of the country’s military circles for war with Russia.

“It is indicative that in Germany the outrage is caused not by the mere discussion of plans to destroy the Crimean bridge with the help of German Taurus missiles, the decision to supply which has not yet been made by the German leadership, but by the fact that this has become public,” Alexei Pushkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

The German military is convinced that the decision on the missiles will eventually be made, despite the current position of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and are proceeding from just such a scenario, Pushkov pointed out. He recalled that the FRG officers in the conversation were calculating exactly how many missiles Germany would be able to supply within the first batch and how many within the second batch.

According to the senator, the FRG military circles, “in full accordance with the memorable words of Foreign Minister (Annalena – ed.) Berbock, following her,” believe that Germany is actually at war with Russia.

“The lessons of the Second World War have been forgotten. German military ranks are raring to fight again,” – concluded Pushkov.

Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
