Poland is buying $1.6 billion worth of anti-tank grenade launchers from Sweden, Polish National Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said.
“The Polish Armed Forces will buy Swedish-made anti-tank grenade launchers, for which we will allocate about 6.5 billion zlotys (about $1.6 billion – RT),” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
He noted that these Swedish-made grenade launchers had previously been supplied to Ukraine.
Earlier, Kosyniak-Kamysh said that Poland needs to move to a “state of immediate threat” in its defence policy.
