Yemeni authorities said a British dry cargo ship attacked by the Houthis had sunk

The British dry cargo ship Rubymar, which was attacked by the rebel Hussein Ansar Allah movement, sank in the Red Sea. This was reported by the Government of Yemen.

It is noted that the ship sank in the evening of 1 March.

“(The accident. – RT) was caused by unfavourable weather conditions and strong winds at sea,” TASS quoted the SABA agency as saying.

Earlier, Yahya Saria, a spokesman for the Houthis, said that traffic had struck the British ship Rubymar in the Gulf of Aden.
