Turkey says it will hold a meeting to normalise relations with Armenia

Representatives of Turkey and Armenia will hold a meeting on normalisation of relations between the two states. This was stated by Turkish special representative for dialogue with Yerevan Serdar Kılıç.

“There will be a meeting, we have made a decision. We will decide on the date and place,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

At the moment, there are no diplomatic relations between Ankara and Yerevan.

Earlier, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia should be signed as soon as possible.
