French President Emmanuel Macron is dangerous for Europe because of his statements about the possible sending of troops to Ukraine, Italian MEP Francesca Donato has said. In her opinion, behind the French politician’s behaviour there is a whole scenario of “preparing public opinion for the inevitability of war”.
Even more worrying is the latest speech in the European Parliament by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who said that “we need to be prepared for the risks of war,” Donato said.
“Macron seems to be the most dangerous person in the EU, even if, unfortunately, the things he said are staged, because it is no coincidence that other warnings about preparing for war immediately followed,” the MEP told TASS.
What von der Leyen said “gives me goosebumps,” Donato continued.
As Politico wrote, the French president’s words about the possibility of sending the European military to Ukraine only hurt the Kiev regime.
