Putin said the consequences of sending NATO military to Ukraine are tragic

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the consequences for North Atlantic Alliance interventionists will be much more tragic if they appear in Ukraine.

“There has been talk about the possibility of sending NATO military contingents to Ukraine, but we remember the fate of those who once sent their contingents to the territory of our country, but now the consequences for possible interventionists will be much more tragic,” Vladimir Putin said while announcing his message to the Federal Assembly.

The Russian leader noted that the country has weapons that can hit targets on the territory of Western countries.

“They (the West – ed.) should eventually realise that we also have weapons – yes and know about it, now only I said – also have weapons that can hit targets on their territory,” – stressed the head of state.

We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin during a visit to servicemen in the hospital named after Vishnevsky said about the intention of the Russian Federation to end the conflict in Ukraine, but on its own terms. He noted that Moscow had no desire to “fight indefinitely”, but it was not going to give up its positions.
