Polish hauliers set to resume protests at Ukraine border on 1 March

Polish hauliers intend to resume protests at the border with Ukraine, suspended in January, on 1 March. This was reported by radio station RMF FM.

The protesters will reportedly block border crossings in Hrebenne, Dorohusk and Korczowy. The approaches to the checkpoint in Medyk may also be blocked.

“The authorities promised us that a draft law would be presented, but weeks have passed and there is no draft,” said Maciej Wronski, head of the Union of Polish Transport and Logistics.

Earlier, a representative of the Ukrainian State Border Service, Andriy Demchenko, said that Polish farmers had again blocked the Zosyn-Ustilug checkpoint on the border with Ukraine.
