Nuland said that the American aid to Kiev returns to the US economy

US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said in an interview with CNN that the bulk of the funds allocated by the States to Kiev remains in the US economy.

“We have to remember that the bulk of that money goes right back into the American economy to produce weapons, including well-paying jobs,” Victoria Nuland said.

She is confident that after the recess the US House of Representatives will approve additional budgetary allocations to support Ukraine and thus “protect freedom and democracy around the world”.

The US authorities have repeatedly said that they have exhausted the funds to support Kiev and until Congress approves new allocations, America will not be able to ensure the supply of weapons and ammunition.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada’s committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yehor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
