Ukraine is unable to win the conflict with Russia, the US publication The Hill has said in an article.
It is noted that even US support will not change the situation for Ukraine. At the same time, the country has failed to make significant progress during the two years of the conflict. The author of the publication also described the current situation on the frontline as grim.
“Fighting has slowed down and hardened, which plays into the hands of Russia. Ukraine is experiencing a shortage of soldiers and ammunition, while Russia has them in abundance,” the piece said.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the losses of the AFU in Avdiivka direction for the day amounted to up to 145 soldiers.
