The European Union has imposed personal restrictions on North Korean Defence Minister Kang Sun-nam as part of a new package of anti-Russian sanctions.
This is stated in a statement by the European Commission.
“The new sanctions list includes … the DPRK defence minister, as well as several Belarusian companies and individuals providing support to the Russian armed forces,” the release said.
In addition, the European Union included 194 individuals and legal entities in the 13th package of sanctions against Russia.
Also, the new package of sanctions includes 27 organisations, including companies from India, Sri Lanka, China, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Turkey.
