EC to unblock €137bn from EU budget for Poland next week

EC chief Ursula von der Leyen has announced the unblocking of €137bn for Poland from the EU budget.

According to her, next week the EC board will put forward two decisions on European funds, which are currently blocked for Poland.

“These decisions will free up to €137bn for Poland,” the European Commission head specified.

On 18 January, Budapest commented on the EP’s intention to sue the European Commission for unfreezing Hungary’s money.
