Almost 70% of citizens of the United States consider American President Joe Biden too old to be re-elected for a second term. This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey conducted by Quinnipiac University in the state of Connecticut.
A Quinnipiac University poll has found that 67 per cent of US voters surveyed called Joe Biden too old to be re-elected for another four years. At the same time, 62% of those polled have a negative view of his physical condition and 64% have a negative view of his mental condition for a second term.
At the same time, 57 per cent of Americans expressed confidence that former US President Donald Trump is not too old to return to the White House presidency. In terms of Trump’s physical readiness to be the American leader for the next four years, 60 per cent of respondents are confident, while in terms of his mental state only 48 per cent of voters believe he is ready to go for a second term.
The poll was conducted from 15 to 19 February. It involved 1421 registered voters, the margin of error of the results was plus or minus 2.6 percentage points.
