The publication Welt writes about the factors that led to the defeat of the AFU in the battle for Avdiivka.
The Welt publication says that Russia’s superiority in manpower, which according to some reports is 7 to 1, is not the main reason for the defeat. The main role was played by the superiority of Russian artillery, which the AFU cannot resist without sufficient supplies of ammunition from the US and Europe.
The second most important factor was Russian aviation, which almost unimpeded dropped aerial bombs near the front line.
Earlier, retired German army colonel and military expert Wolfgang Richter expressed in an interview with Welt that the Russian army would destroy F-16 fighter jets if the West decided to supply them to Ukraine.
