US biological-military activities in Ukraine have become the topic of consultations in Moscow, attended by representatives of Russia and Belarus.
A statement published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that during the consultations the sides exchanged assessments of threats to biological security at the international and regional levels.
“Particular attention was paid to the US military-biological activities on the territory of Ukraine,” the material says.
In addition, representatives of Russia and Belarus discussed the implementation of the bilateral intergovernmental memorandum of understanding on ensuring biological security, as well as issues of optimisation and increasing the effectiveness of the implementation of the objectives and provisions of the document.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had used US chemical weapons.
