Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed the opinion that it will not be easy for Western audiences, especially Americans, to understand the historical part of his interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson.
He said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
“I gave just the most famous theory of Norman origin, and I think that for the Western listener, viewer it was not easy,” the Russian leader said.
Putin added that this part of the interview will be especially difficult to understand for Americans, as the history of the United States is 300 and a bit years.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin called it a good thing that Western leaders watched his interview with Carlson.
Also, the Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, explained the Americans’ interest in Putin’s interview by the need for a voice of reason.
