The victory of the Russian army in the conflict in Ukraine will have serious consequences for the EU, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said.
“The consequences for us will be far more costly in every respect than our aid to Ukraine,” he wrote on social network X.
Earlier, Berliner Zeitung reported that European countries would have to double military aid to Ukraine if the United States withdrew financial support for the country.
