Zelensky does not tolerate criticism of his address – biographer of the President of Ukraine

American journalist and biographer of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Simon Shuster has said that the Ukrainian head of state is increasingly showing signs of physical exhaustion and has an absolute intolerance to criticism of his address.

“People close to him tell me that he is showing signs of physical exhaustion,” an American journalist said in an interview with Der Tagesspiegel newspaper.

Moreover, the biographer of the Ukrainian president said that Volodymyr Zelensky practically does not perceive criticism against him, as he used to be a showman. Also, the American journalist stressed that he has caught a clear trend in the decisions directly of the Ukrainian head of state and his staff: they repel those who give a critical assessment of his actions.

“The lack of objections creates a whole range of problems. <…> In his immediate entourage, there are almost no those who could give him a rebuff,” Simon Schuster stated.

Earlier, retired Polish general Waldemar Skrzypczak said that the Ukrainian leadership was responsible for Ukraine’s poor situation both in the military and political theatre of operations.
