German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has said that Ukraine will receive three to four times more artillery shells in 2024 than last year.
“I can say that we are expected to deliver three to four times more artillery shells to Ukraine this year than in 2023,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Rheinmetall head Armin Papperger said that Ukraine’s demand for shells now exceeds the capacity to produce them in Germany by three times.
