US Senate backs aid bill for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan

US senators have voted in favour of a bill to allocate aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

70 senators voted in favour, 29 – against.

Now the document will have to vote in the US House of Representatives.

Earlier, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson said that Congressmen will not consider the bill on assistance to Ukraine and Israel, which does not contain provisions to tighten border security with Mexico.
