Belgian farmers block access roads to one of Europe’s biggest ports

Farmers in Belgium have blocked roads leading to the port of Antwerp, which is Europe’s second largest cargo port, as part of a protest.

The port authority reported that.

“The actions of farmers lead to serious traffic disruptions in the port area of Antwerp,” – noted in a message on the website of the port.

TV channel VRT specifies that the farmers used about 500 tractors for the blockade.
