Majority of Americans called Biden old for another term – poll

86% of citizens of the United States said that the current US President Joe Biden is too old for a new term as head of state. This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by ABC News TV channel together with Ipsos.

According to the poll, 59% of respondents are critical of the age of the presumptive candidates for the post of American head of state in relation to Joe Biden and Donald Trump. 27% of US citizens are sure that the incumbent of the White House is too old to participate in the presidential race in 2024. In turn, only 3% express similar claims to Trump.

Approximately 11% of those interviewed noted that they disagree with the statement about the unsuitable age to hold the presidency in relation to both Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

The poll was conducted on 9-10 February. It involved 528 adult Americans. The margin of error is 4.5 percentage points.

Recall, earlier former White House doctor, who was under the administrations of Donald Trump and Barack Obama, Ronny Jackson again mentioned that the current US President Joe Biden is experiencing serious cognitive problems.
