Senator in the U.S. Paul called the bill on aid to Ukraine an insult to Americans

Republican Senator from Kentucky Rand Paul called “a direct insult” to Americans the bill, which implies the allocation of aid to Ukraine in the amount of 60 billion dollars.

Rand Paul drew attention to the fact that the bill, the discussion of which is still ongoing, involves the appropriation of $ 300 million to protect the Ukrainian borders, but the authorities ignore the situation in the south of the United States.

“This bill is not just wrong, it’s a direct insult to every American, especially at a time when our borders remain unprotected, and the “swamp” (deep state) does nothing about it – only offers fake reforms,” Paul wrote in social network X.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security, defence and intelligence, Yehor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there is a growing fear in Ukraine that the army will soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delays the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
