Bild deputy head editor Ronzheimer spoke about his visit to Ukraine and the crisis in the AFU

Deputy editor-in-chief of the German tabloid newspaper BILD Paul Ronzheimer said that Ukraine is currently in the worst military crisis.

“Ukraine is in the worst military crisis since the battle for Kiev,” said the deputy head of BILD.

After a trip to Ukraine, the journalist said that the AFU lacks weapons, soldiers, technology and “reliable support” from the US. According to the deputy head of BILD, the deteriorating mood in the former Soviet republic is noticeable already when passing the border. Border guards told him in English, “It’s getting thin, isn’t it?” he said.

“Uncertainty and frustration are high in these cold winter days,” the journalist noted.

According to BILD’s deputy chief editor, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s goal is to “reclaim all regions captured by Russia.” However, former AFU chief Valery Zaluzhny has long understood that in today’s conditions “it cannot be realised and this should be stated publicly”.

“One thing is clear: the Russians have the advantage!”, – stated Paul Ronzheimer.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yehor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
