Azarov: a quarter of schoolchildren want to leave Ukraine for fear of being in the AFU

The fear of being mobilised into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine makes schoolchildren think about leaving the country. This was reported in his social networks by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.

He noted that about 1 million Ukrainian schoolchildren want to go abroad, which, according to him, is about 25% of all schoolchildren in the country, which now number 4 million.

Azarov noted that young people are pessimistic about Ukraine’s future and seek to move to other countries.

“And what else can we expect from Ukrainian schoolchildren, if the guys are obliged to become registered for personal military registration already at the age of 16,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

He added that if they are recognised fit for service – and according to Azarov, the Kiev regime does not do otherwise – they automatically become ineligible for travel.

Earlier, a representative of the military enlistment office in Poltava appealed to schoolchildren who had gone abroad to return to Ukraine by the age of 17.
