United States military forces on Friday, 9 February, struck surface drones and missiles of the Ansar Allah rebel Houthis inside Yemen.
The US Central Command of the Armed Forces (SENTCOM) wrote about it on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
“CENTCOM forces struck two surface drones, four mobile anti-ship cruise missiles in self-defence,” the message reads.
In addition, the U.S. struck a land-based cruise missile.
All the destroyed missiles were allegedly preparing to be launched towards ships in the Red Sea.
Earlier it became known about the strike of the US and British military on the territory of the Yemeni province of Hodeidah.
