The US and British aggression against Yemen serves the interests of Israel. This was stated by the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Hosein Amir Abdollahian.
Speaking at a press conference in Lebanon’s Beirut, the Iranian minister said the missile strikes on Yemen increase the risk of worsening the crisis in the Middle East region.
“Anglo-American aggression against Yemen serves Israel’s interests and threatens to expand the scope of the conflict in the Middle East,” TASS quoted him as saying.
The Iranian foreign minister also drew attention to the fact that the United States, which claims it wants to calm down the situation in the region, is in fact increasing the risk of an escalation of the crisis.
Earlier it became known about the strike of the US and British military on the territory of the Yemeni province of Hodeidah.
