The Palestinian Hamas movement is capable of continuing to confront Israel, the movement’s spokesman in Lebanon, Walid al-Kilani, said.

According to him, Hamas was able to cope with a strong military arsenal in the region for four months and retained the ability to attack, defend and achieve objectives.
“It is capable of enduring for a much longer period of time,” he added.
Earlier, Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Galant warned the US that Hamas’ response to the hostage deal offer would only encourage Israeli forces to expand the ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
