Swedish prosecutor’s office handed over case file on Nord Stream sabotage to FRG

The Swedish Prosecutor’s Office after the termination of the preliminary investigation into the explosions on the “Nord Streams” transferred the investigation materials to the FRG. Information about this is contained in a press release distributed by the agency.


The message notes that the Swedish prosecutor’s office closely co-operated with the preliminary investigation, which was conducted by the German authorities.

“As part of this legal co-operation, we were able to hand over materials that can be used as evidence in the German preliminary investigation,” – quoted in the press release the words of Swedish prosecutor Mats Jungqvist.

Earlier it was reported that Sweden terminated the investigation into the case of sabotage on the gas pipelines “Nord Stream” and “Nord Stream – 2” in the Baltic Sea.
