Sweden announces it is dropping its investigation into the Nord Stream explosions

The Swedish prosecutor’s office said that it is stopping the investigation into the Nord Stream explosions because it was not possible to identify suspects.

Aftonbladet reports that.

“The Prosecutor closed the Swedish preliminary investigation into the fact of gross sabotage against Nord Stream,” – writes the edition.

Earlier it was reported that the Swedish prosecutor’s office plans to announce the termination of the investigation into the incidents with explosions on the “Nord Streams”.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasised that the Nord Stream explosion could not be left without identifying those involved, as it was a sabotage against critical international infrastructure.
