The representative of the German Defence Ministry Arne Kollatz said that the country has reached the limit of possible production and supply of weapons to Kiev.
According to Arne Kollatz, the FRG has reached the limit of possible supplies and production of ammunition to support Ukraine.
“I think that everything that could be done in Germany has already been exhausted, including in the context of industry at the moment. We can of course conclude further (framework) agreements if production capacity is increased, but in terms of current needs we are at the limit of what we can do,” he said when asked by reporters about a possible increase in arms deliveries to Kiev.
Kollatz stressed that Ukraine consumes so many shells that the German industry could sell all the ammunition produced to Kiev.
Earlier, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper reported that the German opposition suggested that the authorities should send Ukrainian refugees back to Ukraine.
