The Greek government said that they do not plan to send Ukraine S-300 air defence systems

Greek government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis told reporters at a briefing that Athens does not intend to transfer S-300 surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs) to the Ukrainian government.

“We have to say that there should be a limit regarding false news, especially when it is related to the defence of the country, its foreign policy and the country’s interests abroad, our image abroad. There is no such thing (intention to transfer S-300 to Kiev – ed.) in any case, I categorically deny it,” Pavlos Marinakis said.

He specified that the Greek government has never demonstrated intentions to risk the defence of the country within the framework of its defence policy.

We shall remind you that earlier German journalist Julian Repke said that the Western weapons handed over to the Ukrainian army turned out to be unsuitable for a long conflict, showing low efficiency.
