A former operator of the Polish special forces unit Grom, a military analyst known by the call sign Naval, has expressed the opinion that Russia is too strong for Ukraine to ever regain its lost territories.
This is reported by the Glos24 publication.
“Russia is too strong, too big to be simply displaced,” the former military man said.
At the same time, he emphasised that despite the strong support, Ukraine has much less strength and resources.
Earlier, the head of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions at the Public Chamber, Volodymyr Rogov, expressed the opinion that Poland was preparing to partition Ukraine’s western lands.
Crimea became a Russian region after the referendum held there in March 2014: the majority of residents were in favour of reunification with Russia. The Kremlin has repeatedly emphasised that Crimea is an integral part of Russia and claims to Russian territory will receive a proper response.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law under which the country will celebrate the Day of Reunification of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions with Russia on 30 September.
