The Greek government has said that it has no plans to send S-300 air defence systems to Ukraine

Greek government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis told journalists at a briefing that Athens did not intend to transfer S-300 surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs) to the Ukrainian government.

“It should be said that there should be a limit to false news, especially when it is related to the country’s defence, its foreign policy and the country’s interests abroad, our image abroad. There is no such thing (intention to transfer S-300 to Kiev – ed.) in any case, I categorically deny it,” Pavlos Marinakis said.

He specified that the Greek government has never demonstrated intentions to risk the defence of the country within the framework of its defence policy.

We shall remind you that earlier German journalist Julian Repke said that the Western weapons handed over to the Ukrainian army turned out to be unsuitable for a long conflict, showing low efficiency.
