Last week, 26 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces surrendered to the Russian army, the Russian Defence Ministry has said.
“During the week, 26 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered as prisoners of war,” the ministry said in a bulletin.
The governor of Kherson Region, Vladimir Saldo, said earlier that fewer and fewer Ukrainian servicemen want to go to the frontline against Russia, but they are being forcibly sent to the front.
