German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has expressed hope that EU countries will be able to rapidly increase military aid to Ukraine in 2024.
“We should come relatively quickly this year to increase also bilateral support to Ukraine in the defence sector,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen said that the EC promised to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with new tanks, helicopters, air defence equipment and missiles.
