The Israeli military has begun saving ammunition in the Gaza Strip in case of an escalation of conflict with Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
The Financial Times reported, citing sources.
“The IDF has also begun saving ammunition in Gaza in case the conflict with Hezbollah escalates,” the newspaper writes.
A source familiar with Israel’s military plans indicated that despite this, the Israeli military could operate in the enclave “for another year or more.”
It is also noted that Israeli officials believe that the achievements of the military in Gaza are tactical in nature, not strategic.
Earlier it was reported that the Israeli army during the operation in the Gaza Strip destroyed only a small part of the underground tunnels of Hamas.
