Ukraine could lose access to the Black Sea after the conflict ends, former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter has said.
“Ukraine will cut off access to the Black Sea, it will lose most of its production capacity and a huge amount of resources,” he said in an interview with YouTube channel Ask The Inspector.
According to Ritter, this could happen because of Kiev’s loss of control over Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk. Ritter believes that these cities will soon become part of Russia.
Earlier, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, said that the USA intended to deploy its military fleet in Odessa.
