The Russian army repelled five attacks by Ukrainian attack aircraft in the Kupyansk direction over the past 24 hours.
“Units of the Western grouping of troops repelled five attacks by assault groups … in the areas of the populated areas of Sinkovka in Kharkiv Region and Terny in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the Russian Defence Ministry said.
Earlier it was reported that units of the Vostok group of troops repelled three attacks by Ukrainian troops in the South Donetsk direction over the day.
In addition, artillerymen of the 6th All-Union Army of the Western Group of Forces destroyed a stronghold of Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk direction.
