Scholz called for speeding up the process of hiring Ukrainian refugees in the FRG

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has called on employers to speed up the process of hiring Ukrainian refugees in Germany.

“I would like to make a specific appeal to you to help employ those natives of Ukraine who now live in Germany, because it is very important for their recognition among the population and also for the prospects of Ukrainians,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Scholz noted that, according to various surveys, about 80% of Ukrainians are qualified labour force.

Earlier, the Bild newspaper wrote that a Ukrainian citizen killed a man in Germany, in whose flat she stayed after the start of the Ukrainian conflict.
