Democrats don't believe Biden will win the election - Bloomberg

Democratic lawmakers on condition of anonymity told Bloomberg that they consider the current US president an outsider and are “concerned about Biden’s chances” of being elected for a second term. The concern is caused by the age of the American leader (81 years old) and the fact that the party is losing votes due to high prices and the administration’s position on the conflict in the Middle East.

The agency notes that many of Biden’s supporters believe that former US leader Donald Trump of the Republican Party will “do better” as head of state.

“The behind-the-scenes anxiety contrasts with public displays of solidarity,” Bloomberg writes.

The US presidential election will be held in November 2024. Trump has signalled he will enter the election race in November 2022. Biden said that he will seek re-election to the highest state post in April 2023.

We shall remind you that earlier a member of the Ukrainian parliament, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security, defence and intelligence Yegor Chernev in an interview with the New York Times said about the growing fear in Ukraine that the army will soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delays the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
