Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Europe has thrown away the money it allocated to Ukraine.
According to him, European countries are actively talking about the ephemeral danger allegedly emanating from Russia because Europeans have spent a lot of money on Ukraine.
“At one time, President Biden called it an investment in the understanding of Americans. If you stick to the point of view that it is an investment, it has gone bust. The Europeans understand this very well, that the money was thrown away,” TASS quoted Peskov as saying.
Earlier, German Economy Minister and Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck said that Berlin was underfunded due to spending on aid to Kiev.
