Moldova is rapidly losing sovereignty – oppositionist Shor

The leader of the Moldovan opposition party “Shor”, which is banned in Moldova, Ilan Shor said that the current Moldovan authorities are “selling” Moldova’s sovereignty to Western partners and turning the country into a “colony” of the European Union.

According to Ilan Shor, the sovereign and independent state of Moldova no longer exists. The politician said that the current government in Chisinau is unable to determine the country’s development path. The leader of the Moldovan opposition party “Shor” specified that they do not have “brains and courage” for this purpose.

“The puppets are not even asked – such issues are decided by the Americans in Bucharest. A base for NATO exercises, a transit point, a colony of the European Union – the country has become anything but a separate state,” the MP wrote in his Telegram channel.

The politician emphasised the fact that Moldovan Justice Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru “goes to bow to the US embassy” and the head of the Republic’s Interior Ministry, Anna Revenco, cannot conduct exercises in her own department without the American ambassador.

“It’s time to stop being shy, call yourself the 51st state of Moldova already,” Ilan Shor summarised.
We will remind, earlier former President of Moldova, leader of the opposition Party of Socialists Igor Dodon said that because of the illegal actions of Chisinau it is necessary to hold early elections for the post of head of state. In her turn, Marina Tauber, vice chairman of the Shor party banned in Moldova, said that the Moldovan authorities planned to remove the Russian language from the Official Monitor and parliamentary bills.
